Perfect Home Spa Ideas

You work hard, and whether you have a family or a busy schedule, you need time to relax. You probably have looked to your local spa for some me-time. Have you ever considered a home spa? The local spa is great, but after that relaxing session, you have to return home through the traffic to be stressed and feel like you need to repeat it all over again.

Staying home might seem like a cheap answer. Still, you can get your hands on excellent quality products; you can have the same relaxing deep tissue, body detox as the spa.

Just like the spa, a lot of it is the pampering before the spa. We go to the spa for personal care, pampering, and me-time. You can enjoy the same results with even better relaxation when you are home. Make sure everyone is in bed or at least behaving, and everyone knows that you are having some time for yourself in the bathroom. If it is about that tea and biscuits, make sure you are organized, and it's part of the home spa experience. If it's the music or candles, prepare them, so there is no need to rush. Lovery has some great towels in our sets. Grab whatever will make you relax, and your time has begun.

Don't be self-conscience. There is no right way to enjoy a home spa. You can start with a shower and then have a relaxing bath or go straight to a bath. In our bath sets, you'll have a range of different cleansing and detoxing products, so take your time and decide what you want to try. After a few times of enjoying these home spas, you will know what you enjoy and different spa times with different products.

Getting Started with Your Home Spa

A great idea before getting started with your bath or shower is to take care of your nails. It's a great time while your nails are dry since they break and spit more easily when they are wet.

Once you have had a relaxing time, you can massage hands with some creams, either containing shea butter or essential oils. These will lock in moisture in your hands. You will really appreciate it. Your hands get so much use day after day with everything you use them for. We don't take time to care for them, and this is the chance for you to give them some TLC. This can include a gentle foot massage. By moving your thumb in a circular motion and applying pressure, start by the toes and move backward through your upper foot and then lower foot to release aches and pains. Use some bath oils or shea butter to detox and remove that tension.

If you decide to have a mask, you start with one and read a book, listen to some music or relax.

The name of the game is trying different combinations to find those things that you really enjoy and appreciate.

Hair masks like face masks can restore that healthy look. Make sure you apply these creams to your hair after it has had a chance to remove any excess water.

Start with a face mask or an eye mask. You want to cleanse and remove your make up if you didn't do that with your bath or shower. You can choose a sheet mask infused with do-good ingredients or gel masks that soothe and relax.

You have a few masks options; a mask with hyaluronic acidify will help care for your skin that has seen a bit more wear and tear. If your skin is greasy and you find you break out, an exfoliating mask with charcoal is perfect. Shea butter can make a quick entrance here if you want and apply it for exfoliating properties. Alternatively, sensitive skin or sensitive face can see a return to its healthy shiny self with a hydrating mask.

Shea Butter

Once you have had a relaxing time, you can massage hands with some creams, either containing shea butter or essential oils. These will lock in moisture in your hands. You will really appreciate it. Bath Oils

Follow grooming with a foot massage. Use your thumbs in circular movements to press arches, big toes, small toes, balls of feet, and heels. Use some bath oils or shea butter to detox and remove that tension.

Bath Salts

These bath salts are rich in magnesium and help reduce the water retention that bloats breasts, tummy, or ankles while it soothes achy muscles. You don't need to add these in one spa routine. You should mix and match. If feeling those aches and pains and would love a good detox, then these salts or bath bombs are just what you need.

This is the crucial part that really sets this all apart. You are so relaxed and your home. So you can take your time to unplug disconnect and take this blissful relaxation into bed. You might find other ways to relax after your spa in the bath, a good book, meditation, or just a good old early night.
